Vocaloid (Winter Wear) Photoshoot

Today I went for a photoshoot for two cosplayers cosplaying Gakupo and Luka from Vocaloid in winter wear. There were total three photographers, one which is a friend of the Luka coser, another which is a fellow friend of mine who is a photographer and of course me! XD

Had a super great time as the photoshoot move on and the last part where the shoot was at Marina Bay Helix Bridge, with the fireworks there as the theme. That part of the photoshoot was just super EEPIC!! Me and the other photographer, Yeen Shong, were so busy running around to try to get good pics of the fireworks with the cosplayers. Yes! With! I had taken photos of fireworks before but I never tried taking fireworks with human while rushing here and there to get a good angle in a fast pace. It was a great learning experience for me XD

In overall, the photoshoot was very good, I had fun and most importantly, I learned much (Level UP!! XD)

Photos posting soon~

Project Diva 2nd!!

Retail release of Project Diva 2nd is actually tomorrow but I got my hands on it today and play it one day in advance! ^^ -excited!-

The game worked on my 5.00m33-6 firmware with 6.20 plug-in.

Firstly, the user interface did change a lot and looks very nice and under the game section, there is Tutorial - where it teaches how each keys (cross, circle, triangle, square, left, right, up, down, continuous) are pressed, Free Play - where the songs are, and Extra.

Shall blog about it tomorrow. My hands are already itching to play it! XD

Mio-chan arrived!!

(refer to my post)

Have been waiting very anxiously for this! Arrived at the Kurocha! store today, I immediately rushed down to fetch her up once I got the news of her arrival.

Carefully, I removed the white paper wrapped around the box, removed the sticker on the lid of the box and took out the figma and accessories.

mm... the straps for the bass and the bag

Some instructions!

Still in box =3

The figma was made from PVC and ABS, and with all the details, this figma is just awesome! The texture is great and the shirt, skirt, the front part of the hair and the bag is rather soft so more poses can be made easily without much constraints and at the same time make them more close to 'real'.

Mio-chan is now ready to go!

Yoshi! All ready to play!

Woops! and she fell o_o "Mio-chan! daijoubu??"

Err... -censors- o_o

oh noo... don't cry Mio-chan!! X[

New shoes for Mio while comforting Mio-chan

after much attempts to comfort Mio-chan... she smiled! ^^

time for Mio-chan to rest at home!

New Code Geass Project's Launch Revealed (Update 4)

Saw the news of the revealed launch of the new Code Geass Project to be starting this year?
Here is the news if from Anime News Network last year:

Bandai's mobile phone website m-pub.channel.or.jp is hosting a graphic that reads as follows:

New Code Geass
Project Launch Green-Lit!

Wait for more info in 2010!!

The image adds that this project represents a "rebirth" and that Geass will take a new step starting today. The message is signed with the name, "ZERO."

In the January 2009 issue of Gakken's Animedia magazine, the Sunrise anime studio indicated the possibility of more plans for its Code Geass science-fiction franchise. Sunrise created and animated the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion television anime series and its R2 sequel. Sunrise did not indicate the format that any hypothetical future plans might take. The Adult Swim television programming block ran Bandai Entertainment's adaptation of the R2 sequel in North America.

Update: More background information added.

Update 2: The website has reverted back to its earlier contents, and the image revealing the new Code Geass project is no longer posted on the main page, even though it is still available by directly accessing its address.

Update 3: The same message that appeared on the mobile website also appears on the franchise's computer website after the main page downloads a Flash interstitial. It was also repeated during Saturday's "Kiseki no Tanjōbi" event. Thanks eaglestorm and Crystal.

Update 4: The franchise's computer website has posted a page devoted to the new project. The page has a message from Code Geass producer Yoshitaka Kawaguchi. According to Kawaguchi, the new project will feature the simultanteous releases of comic series, music, new products under development, and visual works. More details will be revealed in the January issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Newtype magazine, which ships this week.

There is not much updates since then but according to rumours, the new Code Geass project would come out as a new anime season (R3?), a gaiden (side story), a new manga series, and a possible animated movie.

I am totally looking forward to the new project as the Code Geass anime (both first and second season) are just awesome! ^^

Video found in YouTube relating to the rumours:

Angel Beats! - Nendoroid Petite Set 2

The Angel Beats! Nendoroid Petite Set 2 is finally available for preorders! (refer to this post)
Good Smile Company would be releasing a Nendoroid Petite Set for 'Angel Beats!' series this coming November in Japan, which includes Otonashi, Tenshi (Kanade) and Yui.

The set comes with optional items, such as Tenshi's Hand Sonic parts, Otonashi's gun and Yui's guitar, allowing for a variety of different poses and scenes to be remade in Nendoroid form. Tenshi also comes with two facial expressions: her standard emotionless face, as well as the smiling face that she showed in the final episode.

Made from ABS & PVC materials and with stands included, it would be retailed at about 2100円.

The Tenshi in this set looks so much more cuter than the one included in the Dengeki G's August Magazine! Especially the smilling one! So moe! I am so going to get this set!!

Yui is also very cute!! <3
