Browsing through Danny Choo's website and found that he got the Azusa figma before it is even released! I also want one... T_T
Anyways, Max Factory would be releasing a figma of Azusa Nakano, a hard-working rhythm guitarist from the anime series 'K-ON!' this August for about 2800円. It would come with three inter-changeable facial expressions - smilling, upset and embarrassed - her guitar with strap, and her very own guitar case. There would also be cat ears, which fits with the embarrassed face so well, and a poseable figma stand.

Fate/EXTRA
Enjoyed the Fate/Zero, Fate/Stay Night and Fate/Hollow Ataraxia visual novels? Had fun with the Fate/Unlimited Codes PSP game? This coming 22nd July, Fate/EXTRA would be released in Japan for PSP and PSP Go!
Created by Type-Moon and Image Epoch and published by Marvelous Entertainment the game would be an Alternate Remake of the visual novel Fate/Stay Night and part of Marvelous Entertainment's TYPE-MOON×RPG PROJECT. It will center around the events of the fifth Heaven's Feel, as an alternate retelling of the event, featuring RPG style gameplay interspersed with classroom scenes. The protagonist of the game will be a departure from convention for the series, with the ability to choose the hero's gender and to choose your servant between Saber, Caster and Archer. The game will feature characters from the previous entries in the series, as well as new characters. The artist has reinvisioned the appearance of many characters, including Lancer and Saber.
Other characters such as Aozaki Aoko and Aozaki Touko have been shown to appear.
The PSP game would be released at 6279円 and the limited edition box set of the game - which includes the nicely designed box, the Fate/EXTRA game, an original Saber figma in brilliant red dress with a red cool-looking weapon, a book of illustrations ('Fate/EXTRA Visual Works') and a soundtrack disc - would be released at 10,479円.

Vocaloid Photoshoot (Team Steamboat)
Equipped with just my basic gears, Canon EOS 888 film SLR with a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II and a Canon EF 38 - 76mmf/4.5 - 5.6 (which I did not use in the end) lenses, Tintron AF888COS external flash with a improvised diffuser, and 2 rolls of Kodak ULTRAMAX 400, I went for a Vocaloid Team's photoshoot (the team has really pro and famous cosplayers and photographers!! >_< at least in singpapore... owo), which is supposed planned to be at Marina Barrage. However, due to an event is going on there (Singapore International Water Week -- co-organized by my school, Singapore Polytechnic, and Public Utilities Board), I called them to advise them to change location or make a back up plan, and so we ended up at the Esplanade.
The photoshoot was held at three different spots at the Esplanade, namely the Sky Garden, the corridor towards the Sky Garden from the escalator, and the carpark at the basement.
While we were shooting at the carpark, a security guard came over to inform us that we are not allowed to take photos within the Esplanade so we decided to start pack up and move off but only after awhile, the security guard say that he understand it is our hobby to do cosplay photoshoots. So he allowed us to continue, only that we are not allowed to take photos of the structure of the building and not to use the umbrella set up. What a kind security guard! ^^
I would be posting the photos here, in sgcafe and in my Facebook once they are ready.

Black Rock Shooter Notebooks (Design A and B)
Have been waiting for months or can say a year! The Black Rock Shooter notebook are finally in stock in 'Kurocha!' a few days ago! To ensure that it don't run out before I go get it like last time, I ordered it online immediately and went to collect it the next day. And the store is just walking distance!
The notebooks are 15cm by 10.9cm and the Black Rock Shooter design is printed on the front and back cover, and on each individual page.
They were sold at S$9.90 each (I know... it's not cheap for that small notebook >_<).

Good Smile Company would be releasing the Dead Master (a rival-to-be of Black Rock Shooter in the "Black Rock Shooter" anime) Original Version 1/8 scale PVC figure in November this year for around 9334円 in Japan. It is around 280mm tall and a base is included.

The Gathering @ Asia
THE GATHERING @ ASIA is a Japanese sub-culture event consisting of Cosplay and Manga drawing organized by Cosplay.sg (Cost'asia). There are various competitions that would be going on for manga drawing, cosplay and many more. It was part of the launch of the new *SCAPE building at 2 Orchard Link, next to Cathay Cineleisure.
I was unable to make it on the 19th as I have an appointment thus I only went on the 20th. Sadly, most of the cosplayers went on the 19th, found it a bit boring and did not come on the 20th =[
Furthermore, I am low in funds and am using film, thus I didn't really take much photos =X
I felt quite bored over time and decided to pull out a moe chibi Yui cosplayer, a friend of mine, to do a mini photoshoot.
Here are some of my takes:
