AKB48 Special Visit on 28th August

AKB48 Cafe Special Visit is here once more and this time we have Aamin, Maria and... ooh! Ranran is back again! (She came for the previous special visit) =D
[In fact all three of them came before for a special visit to the cafe, where Aamin and Maria came for the first visit - 'Summer Holiday Special Visit']

This time there would be two sessions, 12:30pm and 3pm, with each approximately 1hr 30mins. A set menu meal would be included with the usual, meet and greet session with the special guests. Tickets would be on sale from 12pm this Friday at the official cafe for $35 each.

Furthermore, three of them would be visiting the official shop on 5pm (as mentioned in the above picture)!

Would be there this Friday to get tickets for both sessions, not for me as I don't have spare cash =[, but for a friend of mine.

Captain of Team 4 Announced & Two More Additions to the Team

It was announced this evening at the Yossha Ikuzo! concert in Seibu Dome that 大場美奈 (Oba Mina) is appointed as captain of Team 4. Congratulations!! ^^

She really do deserve that position in my opinion as she is seen as the most outspoken member in Team 4 and also shown qualities of a leader - heading many of the group’s MCs and also took a lead position during the kenkyuusei B5 theater stages. She also has quite a funny character and started liking and taking note of her from the AKB48 variety show, 'AKBINGO!'. Loved her reaction to the results of survey on how many people know about or recognizes her in 6th July's episode! XD

阿部マリア (Abe Maria) and 入山杏奈 (Iriyama Anna), both from 10th Generation Kenkyuusei, are also announced to be promoted to Team 4. Have already been expecting that Maria would be promoted, considering the exposure she was given recently. Have been seeing her quite often in Singapore recently too - Official Cafe launch, AKB48 Singapore 3rd Stage, and the Summer Holiday Visit. As for Annin (Iriyama Anna), I don't know much about her yet, but would certainly start taking note and keeping tabs on her from now on. ^^

Once again congratulations to the three girls! ^o^

AKB48 Singapore Point Card System

'Thank you everyone who has supported AKB48 Singapore over the past months! We’ll be launching a point card system to reward those who frequent the official shop and café! Stamps collected can be used to redeem drinks, concert tickets, merchandise, meals and more!*

For those attending the Singapore 2011 Summer Holiday Special Visit at the AKB48 Official Café this Tuesday 19.07.11 – attendees will be given a point card with one stamp included. More details on the special event here: http://www.akb48.com.sg/cafe/i​ndex.html#event

The point card system will be officially launched from 20.07.11 (WED) onwards.

Announced earlier today on AKB48 Singapore Facebook wall, a point system would be introduced to reward loyal customers. It's not really a surprise to me but it's definitely a real pleasant news!

I don't know I am considered as a regular customer but I did go for all the concerts, except for Vol.2 which I was not able to attend, bought quite a lot of stuff from the store (sometimes drop by the store when I feel like), and went for the cafe launch. Not forgetting I bought all the concert tees, including the Vol.2's which I did not attend.

There's still quite a lot of stuff I want to buy from the store and also wanted to visit the cafe again, it's hard for a student without a part-time job! Can only spend within my means for now ^^"

Anyways, I would definitely look forward towards the point card system, and I believe... I can still achieve what I achieved with the Otaku House's card system! Hahahax!!

Completed a Loyalty card to get the 'Buddy Card' (aka Membership) and two stamps away to completion on two more Loyalty cards in just... a couple of months? That's last year already. XD

Wondering if there would be a expiry for the AKB48 Singapore's point cards. =o

UPDATE (18th July):
The first batch of the point cards would be launched tomorrow as part of the 2011 Singapore Summer Holiday Special Visit by Maeda Ami and Abe Maria. (Previous post on the visit here)

Summer holiday special visit by Aamin and Maria

Announced on the AKB48 Singapore's Facebook page, Maeda Ami and Abe Maria would be making an appearance on the 19th this month at the Official Cafe as a 'Summer Holiday Special Visit'. There would be fan meeting opportunities and activities for the day and more details would be released soon.

Camp Overnight at Airport & AKB48 Official Cafe launch

It was a really incredible experience for me from yesterday to today. At around late night yesterday, I went down to Changi Airport in hope that I can catch Paruru (Shimazaki Haruka) if she were to arrive in the morning. Have been worrying who would be gracing the cafe launch this afternoon as it was not announced on AKB48 Singapore's Facebook, nor the official site.

(Usually there are two flights from ANA each day to Changi Airport Terminal 2. One at around 5am plus while the other at around 5 - 6pm. The girls from AKB48, according to the pattern, takes ANA from Narita or Haneda International airport. They may take Singapore Airlines, if they were delayed by some reasons and were unable to catch the ANA flight. So normally, when there's an event in the afternoon, the girls would arrive at around end of 5am, if not delayed, and for the concert, they would arrive in the evening on the day before.)

Intended to study but in the end... It's not easy to concentrate there plus when I am supposed to be sleeping. Spent most of the time talking. =X

Went home for a short while before heading down to *Scape for the Official Cafe opening (Recently blogged about the official cafe opening here). There was already quite a handful of people queuing outside *Scape when I reached at around 10am. Somehow they still have the last queue number of the unofficial queue numbers for the sales of photo sets and my friend gave it to me. Kind of surprise to me as I thought I would confirm miss it since I did not queue early and there are already many people in queue. I did not want to get the photo set anyways, as for the last queue number the most probable set left would be Team K. I am not aiming for Team K as I have more favourites in Team A.So I decided to help someone buy a Team K after I bought what I want from the shop, the 見逃した 君たちへ」～AKB48グループ全公演～(Minogashita Kimitachi e, AKB48 Group Zenkouen - For you who missed it, AKB48 Group Complete Performance), which would include a photo. Received Love-tan (Ota Aika), which I used to trade over a Akicha photo from the AKB48 Singapore May photo set.

Frankly speaking... it tastes great!! Pricing wise similar to Swensen's, taste is also on par too... I would it's totally worth it! Considering that in addition there's the AKB48 atmosphere in here with PVs playing on big screens... Great experience! Would love to pop by again, if wallet allows XD

There was a lucky draw as an opening special... but well, no luck. Did not win =[

I think I forgot to mention. They do provide free lime water! (but of course you wouldn't go in just for the water hahax! XD)

It was a totally great experience for me from yesterday night and the whole of today I would say! ^^
