AKB48 Everyday、カチューシャ (Everyday, Kachuusha) ranked #1 in two Apps!
Previously I posted on AKB48 reaching #1 on the United World Chart and that the 21st single, Everyday、カチューシャ (Everyday, Kachuusha) was ranked 1st for the whole of the first week of Oricon sales. Yesterday night I went to check on two of rating apps in my iPod Touch, 'Top 100 Music - FREE' and 'Music top 100's hits', the single, Everyday、カチューシャ (Everyday, Kachuusha) was also rated #1 in both of the apps in the 'Japan' category! Congratulations AKB48!! ^^

AKB48 reaches #1 on the United World Chart!
Selling a massive 1,333,969 copies of their 21st single, Everyday、カチューシャ (Everyday, Kachuusha'), in just the first week, I would say that I am not surprised and they totally deserves that position. Congratulations AKB48!! ＼(^o^)／
The United World Chart ranks the most popular tracks according to 'global paid downloads, single-sales and airplay'. In week 23 of 2011, AKB48 has come in at #1, above popular artists such as Pitbull, Adele, Jennifer Lopez and Bruno Mars.
But it doesn’t stop there! “Everyday, Kachuusha” is also on one of the “top achievement charts” for “tracks with most points in a week (since 1999)”. This isn’t their first time on this chart though, as AKB48’s previous single – “Sakura no Ki ni Narou” – ranked at #3,right below Lady GaGa’s “Born This Way”.

No Sleeves releasing new single on 29th June!
It was announced that AKB48 sub-unit, No Sleeves (or no3b), will be releasing their seventh single on 29th June!
Titled “Kuchibiru Furezu…”, three limited CD+DVD versions and a regular CD-only edition will be available for a total of four different versions and each of the limited editions will feature a different member of No Sleeves.

I totally loved their singles, 'Answer' and 'Relax', and am totally anticipating for the release of this single. ^^
I wonder what would be singing style be like. Maybe slightly wild or fierce? Their songs' singing style tends to be reflected on its single's cover one way or another.

AKB48 Singapore Theater 'Live' Vol.3: 'SDN48 1ST STAGE!'
Information for the SDN48's 1st stage in Singapore is out! There would only be one time slot, at 8pm, and like Vol.1 and 2 (AKB48 1st and 2nd stage) it would be 90 minutes long. On AKB48's Singapore Official site, it only offered online ticket sales for now. I'm not sure if there would be physical ticket sales but it doesn't seem that there would be.

8pm Concert Performance (One show only.)
Duration: 90mins
Includes Handshake Session at the end of show.
Ticketing Sales Channels:
Online ticket sales will start from 12pm 02.06.11 (THU)

Kenkyuusei Ichikawa Miori promoted to official member
Yesterday, 市川美織 (Ichikawa Miori) from the 10th Generation Kenkyuusei was announced to be promoted to official member status, though the team she would be in is not decided yet.
Along with her, 森杏奈 (Mori Anna), 永尾まりや (Nagao Mariya), 中村麻里子 (Nakamura Mariko), 大場美奈 (Oba Mina), 島田晴香 (Shimada Haruka), 島崎遥香 (Shimazaki Haruka), 竹内美宥 (Takeuchi Miyu), 山内鈴蘭 (Yamauchi Suzuran) and 仲俣汐里 (Nakamata Shiori) are also promoted with their teams not decided yet.
She was totally so cute in this episode of AKBINGO! ^^
As for the 9th Gen Kenkyuusei, my favourite is Shimazaki Haruka, aka Paruru. Started liking her in 'Majisuka Gakuen 2' where she acted as 'Kanburi' in 'Team Fondue'.

My second time dropping by the shop right after school today. It's so convenient for the store to be in the center of Singapore. =3

Heard from them that the list of SDN48 members that were coming for the upcoming concert on 10th of June is out but not announced. Got to know a bit information from them but shall keep it a secret first though. =X Promised them not to spread it out before they release the information in the AKB48 Singapore site. AKB48 2nd Handshaking Session, Welcoming the Arrival of Remaining AKB48 Members
Started queuing for the AKB48 handshaking session today at slightly after 12:30pm and the queue was fortunately not too long. Thought that a lot of people would queue very early like on the first day of the Official Shop opening so initially intended to go there at 9 to 10am =X Was stuck with something else thus, did not reach there that early. While waiting I played with my iPod Touch, surfed the net and blogged using my laptop and helped my friend to upgrade his firmware for his iPod Touch 1st Gen. My friends, AKB48 mateys, arrived awhile later.

As compared to the previous handshaking session with Wasamin, Komorin and Myao, this time round we got to hold on to the members' hands longer and chat for a while with them! Did not expected it thus was kind of at a lost as for what to say. My standard topic to the all three was '選抜頑張ります!' ('senbatsu ganbarimasu!' - 'All the best for the senbatsu!) and for Moeno, I additionally said '萌乃大好きです!' ('Moeno daisuki desu!' - 'I love Moeno!') as amongst the three, my favourite is Moeno. ^^ I like her 'Bungee' in the 'Majisuka Gakuen' drama. =3
Umechan pointed at my shirt and I think she asked that if I went to the previous concert on 15th May and whether I would be going to the tomorrow's concert. I was saying yes at all her questions and she sounded very happy ^^ Although I am not actually going to tomorrow's concert as I would not be able to make it, making her happy makes me happy too. =D Hmm.. today is actually the first day I know of her though (there are a lot members in AKB48 so even though I am a fan for sometime already, I am still trying get to know and remember more members). Looks and feel kawaii to me, both pretty and cute. ^^ Shall add her to the list of members that I am currently following.
Still was at a lost as to what to say when shaking Sayaka's hand, so I did an introduction on top of wishing her all the best in the Senbatsu elections. Maybe I was a bit too excited as I finally got to see Sayaka right in front of me after years only seeing her behind the screen? I forgot that she can speak in English rather fluently! Should have talked to her in English so that I can talk to her longer.. wasted my chance to talk to Sayaka... T_T
I went home first to settle some stuff before heading off to Changi Airport Terminal 2 Arrival Hall to welcome the arrival of the remaining 13 AKB48 members that would be performing tomorrow. The fans there are in the midst in preparing the banners when I arrived and starting to get hyped up =3
Next time, I not going to fanboy while taking photos again. It always end up with crappy photos in that way. I shall control myself, take a good shot first before fanboying all I want!
And... I have been saying that I want to save up for a EOS550D or EOS500D.. I wonder when that day would come =_= I think I shall go for EOS600D and after already by the time I have the money.
I went to a friend's chalet after that at Pasir Ris HomeTeamNS Holiday Resorts for some barbeque food! ^^
