'Asian Ball-Joint-Dolls (ABJDs) is a term used to describe modern dolls that are made with ball and socket joints. However, these dolls are different from a child’s normal play dolls. Predominately produced in Japan, South Korea and China, these dolls are intended for adult collectors and customizers. They are sculpted from resin, fully customizable and accurately portray the human anatomy and aesthetics.
20-year-old Diana Lim is proud to present her first solo photography exhibition at The Arts House, Print Gallery. Featuring a selection of photographs taken over 2 years, the exhibition titled “Resin Life” showcases a side of Still-Life Photography unlike any other. Immerse yourself now into the beautiful surreal world of doll photography that seemingly breathes a life of its own.'
