Kashiwagi Yuki from AKB48 to debut with a solo single

It was announced yesterday at Yukirin's first solo concert, '1st Solo Live ~Netemo Sametemo Yukirin World~' (which is to commemorate the release of her 2nd photobook 'Yu,Yu,Yukirin…') and on Akimoto Yasushi's Google+ that she will be making her solo debut. It was not announced around when would it be but it was said to be around the January of 2013.

This makes Yukirin to be the 6th AKB48 member to make a solo debut, after Itano Tomomi, Maeda Atsuko, Iwasa Misaki, Watanabe Mayu and Sashihara Rino.
Yukirin will also still be active in the AKB48 sub-unit, French Kiss.

Been anticipating this for so long already!! I totally love Yukirin's ballad songs in French Kiss, and have been wishing that she will be able to debut as a solo singer. Initially I feel that it would be just a dream as she's already in a sub-unit but when Mayuyu made her solo debut while still staying active in the sub-unit she's in ('Watarirouka Hashiritai 7'), I thought... it could actually happen! And it did! Banzai! ＼（Ｔ∇Ｔ）／
